A Complete Reunion

The Reunion Quilt is complete.  The fabric in this quilt is from the Reunion collection by Sweetwater for Moda.

I love working with this collection.  The fabrics are so fun and cheerful.  The finished quilt is a donation for a church auction.

Here is a brief look at the back.

The pattern is the same one I used for my Rose Quilt and I am currently working on putting a pattern together.  Keep an eye out and I should have it listed in my Etsy shop in the next few days.

Update** The pattern is now available in my Etsy shop and you can find it here – PDF Pattern Double Stack.

It is a simple and fun design that is great for both beginners and more advanced quilters.

The staggered squares and rectangles make it so there are very few intersecting seams, which means you don’t have to spend all your time lining up, pinning and making sure those seams meet up just so.  This makes for easy sewing!

Several of you mentioned to me that you are beginner quilters and still get caught up in the quilting process, often confused as to what the next step is.  I decided to create a little simple cheat sheet that lists the steps in the quilt making process.

Happy Sewing!
