Rose Quilt

I am starting on my new project. I fell in love with these fabrics….

I decided to make a rose themed quilt based on the colors from the rose fabric. I love the different shades of green and pink.

I also love roses! This is one of my favorites in my flower bed. It is called Valentine and it is an antique rose. It is very tough and can withstand the crazy heat we have in the summer. It just keeps on blooming through the heat.

I love all the Remix Zig Zag fabrics. There are many different colors available and they add so much character to your quilt. I can’t get enough of fabric with geometric designs! The Outfoxed collection also has some of my favorites.

Ok, now I am sure you are asking “Wait, what happened to the I Spy Quilt? Where did that go?” I haven’t forgotten it.

All of the half square triangles are put together. As I started cutting fabric for the border I realized that I don’t have enough. So it has been ordered and I am patiently (ok, not so patiently) waiting for it. Once it arrives, I will get back to work on it!
