The baby quilt is all finished. I really enjoyed working with hexagons and I am going to have to make another hexi project again soon. I love that I can take them with me anywhere and work with them on the go.
Basted and ready for quilting. I always press the back and front with a hot iron and heavy starch. It really helps the quilting process run smoothly and prevent tucks and pulls.

Adding the binding…
I love this backing combined with the Good Fortune collection. The backing is “the abc’s of fleas” by Alexander Henry and the colors match nicely. This fabric is great for a little one because it can be interactive and a learning tool. Letters to learn and lots of fun objects for a game of “I Spy”.

I hope you have enjoyed watching this quilt develop.
Pretty and beautiful, as I thought it would be. Just perfect! You have to start a new one soon. Mau be you can get some new inspiration at Hexagon Alley. http://hexagonalley.blogspot.no/
