Fun John Deere Quilt for Tractor Fans
Who Doesn’t Love John Deere Quilts? This John Deere quilt is for a little someone who loves tractors. Β It is a traditional style quilt and the top is machine pieced and I am hand quilting it. The pattern is from a quilt called Ryder’s Star made in 1986 from the book Great American Quilts 1990. Β I love this series of books, particularly the mid 80’s to mid 90’s. Β The original quilt was made by the Kentucky Heritage Quilt Society as an annual fundraising project. You can find books from this series for sale on thrift book sites, Ebay, Etsy, and sometimes Amazon. Β Just search for Great American Quilts book series…
