Here is a quick and easy quilt binding tutorial to help you make your own binding in the fabric of your choice. It makes the whole process super simple and you will have beautiful sharp, square corners when you are done.1. For the length of binding needed, measure and add up all four sides of the completed quilt and add 25 inches to the total. 2. Cut long strips of fabric, 2.5” in width. Rainbow Steps and Stairs
I am so excited to say that my Half Moon Modern quilt is complete and I named it “Rainbow Steps and Stairs”. I love the Half Moon Modern collection. The colors are so bright and cheerful and the patterns are simple and bold. These fabrics were so much fun to work with. They make this quilt happy and cheerful. In order to get the bold rainbow pattern, I chose fabrics from the collection that have more color than the white background. I love the big polka dots scattered throughout the quilt.
